An enticing and perfect Galaxy A series device! Released in 2019, the Samsung Galaxy A70 boasted an excellent design and the perfect specifications for a mid-range phone. In fact, the A70 was a much-needed product for Samsung at the time as it revived the A series lineup that was destined for doom.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 has a big 6.7inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen, featuring an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a hole punch cutout front-facing camera, a 3-lens rectangular rear camera setup and a polycarbonate rear cover with prism effect.
Powered by the Snapdragon 675 (2 x 2.20GHz CPU), Adreno 612 GPU with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB ROM, the A70 easily has enough power to run android smoothly, browse and multitask. Armed with USB-C 25W charging capability, you won’t be waiting too long between charging cycles.
The SIM card configuration is SIM 1 + SIM 2 + MicroSD, and not the hybrid type which either give you the ability to use 2 sims or 1 sim and SD card only. On the Camera side, Samsung has gone with the rear 32MP Main, 8MP Ultra Wide and 5MP Depth multiple cameras with a 32MP front selfie camera setup.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 has a non-removable 4,500mAh Li-Po battery, which easily lasts a full day with light browsing and multitasking.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 is available in the following colours: Coral, White, Black and Blue. The only negatives are the glass/plastic combination rear cover which seems very easy to scratch and a very slow in-screen fingerprint sensor.
In conclusion, the Galaxy A70 is a very interesting proposition from Samsung. Stylish, bold and very capable Galaxy A series phone which packs plenty of features missing on some Samsung premium devices.
