Welcome to the Asustor AS6202T NAS Server. Released in late 2015, the Asustor AS6202T was the first NAS to be powered by the latest Intel Celeron N3150 quad-core processors, codenamed “Braswell”.
This was a big deal and the Asustor AS6202T remains a very fast and top quality NAS today. We still use one of these and must admit, it just works!
Operating system and Apps
The Asustor ADM (Asustor Data Master) operating system, combined with Android and iOS Apps is a very easy to use system for every user. ADM has a tablet-like interface and there is a huge catalogue of app add-ons for all use cases. The ADM operating system is very frequently updated and this is something a good NAS hardware needs.
On the Operating Add-on Apps front, Asustor offers every possible App you can think of. Plex as a media server, Anti Virus, VPN, CCTV, FTP, VirtualBox and more.
Mobile Apps make the AS6202T accessible from your mobile anywhere you are. This is excellent for streaming as long as you have internet connectivity on both ends.
Hardware and CPU
The Asustor AS6202T server is an all-in-one 2-bay NAS device, powered by an Intel quad-core CPU, with 4GB of DDR3 RAM onboard, with read and write speeds of 223.64MB/s and 219.99MB/s respectively in a RAID1 configuration.
Connectivity
The Asustor AS6202T is equipped with built-in USB 3.0, USB 2.0, eSATA, Dual Gigabit LAN and HDMI 1.4b ports. This gives the AS6602T access to the latest generation of connectivity and technology.
Warranty
To top it all, Asustor offers a 3 years warranty for the AS6602T, which is quite amazing and underlines the trust and quality of Asustor hardware.
